この一言が、クメールハニー誕生のきっかけでした。

カンボジアに住む外国人として、日本に持ち帰れる“安心で実用的で喜ばれるお土産”を見つけるのは難しいと感じていました。

そんな時、パイリンで出会ったのが農家直送の天然ロンガンハチミツ。香りも味も素晴らしくて、安心感がありました。
瓶やラベルを整えて日本で配ったところ、「またこれが欲しい！」との声が続出。

その反応に背中を押され、仕事の少ない地方での雇用創出という目標も加えて、事業化を決意しました。
クメールハニーは、渡す人にも、作る人にも、“うれしい”が生まれるブランドを目指しています。

That simple wish is what sparked the birth of Khmer Honey.

As a foreigner living in Cambodia, I often found it difficult to find souvenirs that were safe, practical, and well-received back home in Japan.

Then I discovered natural longan honey from Pailin. It was fragrant, smooth, and directly sourced from local farmers.

When I carefully packaged it and gave it to friends and family in Japan, the response was overwhelming:

That encouragement—along with a desire to create jobs in a region with limited employment—led me to turn this into a business.
